Outdoor Personal Training
Between the months of Apr-Sept (weather depending) I'm more than happy to take our training sessions outdoors. We can train in the park, the track, or even your backyard. Sessions will be more specific to bodyweight and endurance exercises, and I'll provide portable training equipment: bands, dumbbells, TRX, etc. Regular weekly sessions, a personalized training program, and nutritional guidance are all included. Train with me 1 on 1 outdoors from April - September. Program design, nutritional guidance, and weekly 60 minute sessions are included.

Benefits of Outdoor Training
The benefits of training outdoors cannot be underestimated. Spending time doing physical activity outside in a natural setting has shown to boost mood and increase an overall sense of well-being.
You'll save money on a gym membership, and burn more calories when you run. Running on a treadmill vs. running outdoors are not the same thing. Running outside without a belt underneath your feet is a lot harder.
Studies also have shown that by exposing ourselves to nature’s microbes, exercising outside enhances our ability to resist harmful bugs that cause infections and other health problems. You'll also get your vitamin d which many of us Edmontonians lack due to the long winters in which we tend to hibernate from the cold.
Where to Train
I offer outdoor training in the Glenora, North Glenora, and Westmount areas of the city. However, if there is a park near you which you would like to train from I would be happy to travel to you. Please see the area map here for where I will travel to.
