Talk about frustrating! Bursts of high-intensity exercise, followed by crazy restricted fad diets. Followed months later by a "F!#$ this! SOMEONE JUST GIVE ME A DONUT!" It's a perpetual negative cycle that I plan on helping you break.
This is why I'm excited that you found me. I'm going to help you! I want to help you feel and look your best!
Rest assured, I'll keep in mind that there are only so many hours in a day and the fact that you're a busy person.
I'm not here to change your life to fit the mold that worked best for me.

A Trainer with Personal Experiance
Before I became a personal trainer, I was going through a rough patch in my life. I wasn't taking care of myself and gained over 20 pounds in one year. My confidence was at an all-time low, and I was frequenting McDonald's more than I would ever like to admit.
I wasn't an active person. I couldn't even do 5 push-ups from my knees and couldn't run to save my life.
At the time, I was working in sales and one of my customers happened to own a gym. She invited me to come and check it out and by the end of the tour, I realized that I needed to make a change in my life. When she had me step on the scale I was completely shocked. I had become so unaware of my body that I hadn't even realized that I had gained so much weight.
Lucky me - She offered me a job and that's when my life took a complete 180.
I learned how to exercise. I learned how to run. I learned how to eat better.
I started to feel better mentally, I felt accomplished, and for the first time in a long time - I felt confident. I signed up for a 5km race, then an 8km race, and even joined a boot camp, going to 6 AM classes 5 days a week.
I've Trained a Lot of People
While this sounds like the end of a journey, it was only just the beginning.
I’ve now been in the fitness industry for over a decade and I have over 20,000 hours of fitness instruction under my belt. Over the past 16 years, I have trained people from many walks of life. From some of Canada's top CEOs to 1st-year university students, and new moms. I've trained TV & media personalities, surgeons, lawyers, bankers, and those in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Life can be stressful no matter what you do, and the idea of exercise shouldn’t stress you out more. It’s my job to help ease some of that stress for you!
I have dedicated my life to trying to make others feel the way I did when exercise first came into my life. I could not be a bigger advocate for exercise.
Exercise Can Be Life Changing
I know it's not easy to maintain a constant level of physical activity. But it's important not to underestimate the benefits that go above and beyond the physical.
Exercise helps me in so many more ways than I could have ever imagined. While the physical benefits are a pretty nice side effect, It's been much easier to stay consistent with exercise when I also pay attention to the non-physical.
Without it, my mood and energy levels drop, and my stress and anxiety levels rise. Just a few weeks without exercise and my chronic back pain and digestive issues return.
When you feel this way, getting started can be the most difficult part. It can make exercise can feel like an unenjoyable chore. BUT - once you get over that hump, I can assure you that you are going to feel so much better!
When I become your trainer, I'm not just going to teach you how to go through the motions of exercise. I'm going to bring the fun back to your workouts too!
