Low Calorie Snacks
Anyone who tells you to avoid snacks you avoid giving advice from because its bad advice. In order to keep your metabolism going you must eat every 3-4 hours. I love to snack and the challenge is to make my snack either fibrous, or high in protein. I have also included snack products on this page that I love. Happy Snacking!!
Lemon Pepper Dill Gourmet Popcorn
(Gluten, Dairy and Soy Free)
Ingredients
1/3 Cup Gourmet Popping Corn Original
1/2 tbsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1/2 tbsp Dill Weed, Dried
1 tbsp Goat Milk Butter
Salt to Taste
Squeeze of Lemon Juice to Taste
Get a big pot, cover the bottom of it with a layer of oil or melted goats milk butter. Put it on a low-to-medium heat burner after you add kernels for your popcorn. Continue to cook, covered, and shake the pot occasionally (I shake it near constantly, but every 20-30 seconds is probably sufficient). Keep this up until the popping basically stops.
Top with seasonings and a squeeze of lemon juice from a fresh cut lemon.
Serves 2 and takes only 5 minutes to make.
